Moon Child - Tracy E. Banghart Moon Child is a great book! The second in this series from Banghart and like By Blood, Moon Child has got a nice little mystery that keeps you guessing. We're led through dancer Diana's view of her boring town until two very interesting this happen. She meets the new boy in town, and an awful crime occurs. Most of the book is her unraveling what both those things mean for her, and hoping the two don't intersect. A satisfying resolution and a fast, fun read!
Origins: The Fire - Debra Driza Origins is an amazing story! It got me so excited for Mila 2.0. Get your hands on this now but be careful, it will get you hooked on Mila and wanting more. Only a few months until we get more of Mila's story!
Dance of the Red Death - Bethany Griffin Because I absolutely loved MASQUE OF THE RED DEATH, DANCE OF THE RED DEATH had some big shoes to fill. I knew this book was going to focus more on the revolution and wasn't sure I could love it as much as I had loved book 1. But once it really got going, it really had me in its grip and I could not stop reading. I stayed up until 5 am to finish it last night and it was worth every wink of missed sleep.

The grandeur of the theatrical climax was so perfectly done, like a play on a stage. This book had it all IMO, family, friendship, courage, life, and death, of course. So much death.

And the romance. Ah, the romance. The romance was understated compared to the first book (as it should be, secondary to everything else Araby was facing), but still such a strong storyline. I am a sucker for the romance, I admit. The love triangle is very well done and as a reader I really bounced back and forth between her affection for Elliot and Will.

Araby is a great main character. She is a tough and strong female protagonist, strong-willed and with an incredibly amount of intelligence, courage, and self control. She lives and loves in a city where she is fighting to keep from losing everything, and is very heroic in her own right. She has no problem falling in love, as long as it doesn't get in her way of everything she needs to accomplish.

Read this book (but read MASQUE first), but plan on losing sleep to finish it!:)

Chain of Command

Chain of Command (McKenzie McClendon, #1) - Colby Marshall Loved this book! Kept me turning pages late into the night trying to figure it out. It was mysterious, action packed, filled with political intrigue, and had a good dose of sexy thrown in for good measure.:)

Detect Me

Detect Me - Selma Wolfe Such a fun read! Fun, flirty, exciting and fast paced. Loved it! Looking forward to more from Selma Wolfe!
By Blood (By Blood #1) - Tracy E. Banghart Loved this book!

A fun, fresh contemp with an amazing main character, cute love interests and wonderful setting. Summer abroad, what could be better! Such a fun book and some really cool imagry and mystery to keep you turning the pages. I didn't know exactly where this book was going, but I couldn't stop reading until I found out. Great read!
Prep School Confidential - Kara Taylor LOVED IT! Seriously amazing mystery and un-put-downable. I read this one in probably less than 24 hours. Kept me guessing until the very last chapter. Read it! You won't be sorry! Can't wait for the sequel!

Jules, the Bounty Hunter

Jules, the Bounty Hunter - Katie Ashley What a fun book!

I was lucky enough to read a lot of Jules during an earlier version and the finished product did not let me down! It was a sassy, fun and wild ride. A great read!

Crushed

Crushed - Dawn Rae Miller CRUSHED is amazing!

Fletch, the book’s narrator, is the character you'll love to hate, but the hate won't last. I read this quickly, often shaking my head at his antics, but all the while hoping for his success and change. And Miller does not disappoint on these aspects. We follow Fletch through his elite boarding school life, his incredibly-well drawn friendships and relationships, and yeah, his often shallow and sometimes meaningless debauchery. But all this changes when he starts to take a look at who he is, where he comes from and the hard truths about family and girls and love and expectations. This is a coming of age tale that will not disappoint. You will shake your head at some of the things Fletch gets up to, but he’ll end up stealing your heart in the end.

Winter Rose

Winter Rose - Rachel A. Marks Loved this story so much! So much well done emotion. There was terror, hearthache, fear, revulsion, and at the heart a hopefulness and love. Really a great read!
Nightingale (The Sensitives, #2) - Dawn Rae Miller What a wonderful sequel! Nightingale had me reading fast, dying to know what was going to happen next. The emotions ran high from the first page to the very last word, often taking unexpected turns. I can't wait for Book 3 and to find out what's next for Lark!

My Heart Be Damned (Damned, #1)

My Heart Be Damned (Damned, #1) - C. Gray Channelle Gray’s My Heart Be Damned was awesome! I really enjoyed it. It kept me up reading late and guessing with all the various plot twists and turns. This book is chock full of great characters: kick-ass heroine Amerie, swoon-worthy Marshall (hello, fantastic chemistry!) and all the secondary characters in between.

I loved following Amerie through her various trials. Between fighting the Damned, dealing with family and high school issues and trying to save the world, the girl was seriously busy.

But through it all she kept her quick wit and snappy comebacks, remaining hilarious and sassy, but not afraid to be vulnerable when she needed to be. She’s kick ass and hard core, but soft too. She’s been through a lot but not afraid to let her hair down once in a while and demand the treatment she deserves. All while kicking serious butt, and taking names.
Deadwood - Kell Andrews Deadwood is a really fun MG book. It's a page turning mystery with a really cool fantasy idea woven in. Perfect for the modern day MG reader. It's twists and turns kept me turning the pages and wondering exactly how it was all going to end up!
